Video Management and Restreaming Platform

Unify your video systems with XFlow

XFlow is a video management and restreaming platform that enables Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) agencies to effectively utilize and share live camera video with various internal and external stakeholders. The platform can adapt to different video needs and requirements, such as traffic management (e.g., operator workstations, video walls, etc.), web applications for public and private use (e.g., 511, VDS, etc.), GIS departments (e.g., ArcGIS integration), partner agencies, emergency responders, the media, and others. XFlow is the first platform of its kind to offer a unified, cost-effective solution for both video management and restreaming in TSMO.

Core Capabilities

Intuitive Web UI and Open API

Modern and Mature Video Formats

Intuitive Web UI and Open API

Incorporates a highly intuitive web user interface for video viewing, camera control, and platform administration, and a fully featured web API exposing all platform capabilities for external systems integration.

 XFlow Platform API

Highly Scalable

Modern and Mature Video Formats

Intuitive Web UI and Open API

Highly scalable through the addition of streaming engine instances, with existing deployments handling the mass (public) distribution of video streams for as much as 4,500 different cameras.

Modern and Mature Video Formats

Modern and Mature Video Formats

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

Supports restreaming live video to web browsers, mobile devices, laptops, workstations, video walls, unattended displays, video recording systems, and external systems (RTSP/S, RTMP/S, HLS, LLHLS, and WebRTC).

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

Supports the on-demand ingestion of input streams, such that a given stream is only ingested when viewed by an end user. Input stream ingestion can be initiated by a request for any output stream protocol.

Input Conversion

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

Video Multicasting

Supports the re-multiplexing and transcoding of input streams, such that streams can be converted from one format and/or quality to another, prior to restreaming. This allows the platform to support various legacy formats, as well as to reduce the bitrate, resolution, and/or frame rate of output streams.

Video Multicasting

On-demand Input Stream Ingestion

Video Multicasting

Supports the multicasting of live streams, which allows it to broadcast streams to multiple recipients using a single (private) network connection. Video multicasting support is provided via RTSP (RTP/RTCP).

Video Publishing

Low Latency Restreaming

Low Latency Restreaming

Supports the publishing or ‘pushing’ of streams to one or more external destination servers, configurable on a stream-by-stream basis. Currently supported publishing protocols include RTSP/S and RTMP/S.

Low Latency Restreaming

Low Latency Restreaming

Low Latency Restreaming

Supports ultra-low-latency streaming for applications requiring real-time video delivery, such as camera control and incident detection. The platform can reliably achieve latencies below 500 milliseconds

Video Security

Low Latency Restreaming

Video Security

Supports various controls for restricting stream access in different operational contexts, including request header validation, authorization token validation, maximum concurrent connection enforcement, and IP whitelisting / blacklisting.
